73 shore D TDI/ Polyether urethane
elastomer material is very hard like
a typically molded plastic part. This
material has the typical urethane
properties such as high abrasion resistance,
low compression set. This material
is a good alternative for low volume
plastic like parts, this is due to
the reduced tooling cost typically
1/5 of the cost of an injection or
blow molding tool. Typical color of
this material is black. Some current
applications include bumpers, plastic
like parts (engine air intakes), hose
adaptors, etc. |
