Polypropylene
is in the same family of materials
as Polyethylene (Polyolefins)
but has better strength and
rigidity than HDPE or LDPE,
and can be used at higher temperatures.
The material is chemically inert
and has very low moisture absorption.
It can be easily welded, machined,
or thermoformed. Polypropylene
is FDA and USDA compliant and
has good impact resistance.
